SHIKSHA KI GOONJ (SKG) is an innovative and creative idea to reach children and adults who have lost access to education and literacy opportunities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the program locally available public addressing systems i.e. loudspeakers and other electronic peripherals are used to broadcast educational content among target groups. High Recall and Low Engagement content is scaled up in local dialects resulting in greater connect in the community. The program focuses on application of knowledge apart from engagement.

The program is implemented in villages that are identified and selected through house-hold surveys. All necessary approvals are taken from the local administration before the commencement of the program, followed by infrastructure setup. Finally, the team is trained to deliver the specially designed content which caters to the needs of the community and also increases engagement among learners.
